The Jigs and Wolf Litter

January 16, 2026

Two girls were born via c-section. This is Jigs last litter. She will fly to BC later this year to live with my son Alex in Powell River at the family property on Cranberry Lake.  She’s always been Alex’s “Princess Peach” and he is excited to have his girl back.

The puppies are born! January 16, 2026. It was a difficult delivery – Jigs needed an emergency c-section and we lost one puppy. Luckily she had two beautiful girls, Carma (after my best friend in Powell River) and Amazing Grace because well, she is amazing, and I was reading a fabulous book by the same name written by Leslie Crewe when the puppies were born.

Jigs is pretty relaxed now but she had a difficult time for the first few days.
